Project Description
A tree-climbing yoga adventure in the heart of the Amazon jungle
The Amazon Jungle is the largest tropical rainforest in the entire world covering over 5.5 million square miles and provides 20% of the Earth’s oxygen. It is home to over 10 million different species of plants and animals and contains one-fifth of the freshwater of the world in the Amazon basin
This part of the Earth is the most powerful natural place on the planet; giving rise to indigenous cultures and providing 25% of the medicine we treat ourselves with today and hosts up to 25% of the Earth’s cancer-fighting organisms
There is still much of this jungle that has yet to be explored and scientists are learning new things on a daily basis that continue to enforce the fact that there is simply no place comparable in regards to the amount of biodiversity and importance it holds to all creatures in the world. It is also one of the most endangered ecosystems on the planet, with one and a half acres being destroyed every second
We have chosen to host our retreat here to allow people to make a personal connection with this profoundly beautiful forest and will hopefully inspire the world to preserve and protect this irreplaceably vital treasure
